Location: Anywhere in Italy (where DNV has an office)

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Area Manager to support our sales efforts in Italy. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong sales skills, excellent market analysis capabilities, and a strategic mindset.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze the local market to understand trends, outlook, development opportunities, potential customers, and competitors’ strategies.
  2. Achieve individual and team sales targets.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies for prospecting and maintaining existing customers.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers.
  5. Follow up on leads from the website and marketing activities.
  6. Enhance DNV visibility, foster customer loyalty, and gather feedback to improve satisfaction.
  7. Contribute to forecasting, tactical planning, KPIs, and target setting processes.
  8. Maintain brand reputation and integrity during sales activities.
  9. Adhere to the country’s pricing policies and approval processes.
  10. Develop and maintain a network of channels, including consultants, advisory firms, freelancers, partners, and associations, to support lead generation.
  11. Retain existing customers and coordinate cross-sales with other departments.
  12. Participate in local communication events such as tradeshows, conferences, and workshops organized by the Marketing Communications department.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in B2B sales is essential (experience in TIC industry or consulting is a plus).
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Independent and responsible in task execution.
  • Creative and open to new solutions and concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
