Our Client is a global company that provides glass packaging solutions for various industries, including cosmetics and perfumery, specialty food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals. The Specialty Food and Beverage segment provides bottles for wine, liquor, and the food industry.
The role
Report to : Director of Sales
No team management
Qualification : MBA in Marketing or similar or equivalent work experience
Experience : 10 to 20 years
Language requirements : English mandatory
- Italian is preferred and a plus.
Availability to travel : Italian territory, report to office in France, and manufacturing site overseas.
Key Roles / Responsibilities
- Develop and regularly update the Specialty (liquor) Market - Overview and Analysis
- Develop strategy and annual sales budgeting for assigned customers and new potential accounts
- Accountable for growth of existing customers and new accounts, including craft distilleries and multinational companies
- Understand customer requirements to recommend specific products and solutions
- Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications
- Provide monthly sales reports, inventory status, sales projections, receivables, and other sales data
- Gain technical knowledge of glass manufacturing and decoration
- Make presentations to customers
- Build strong relationships and understand customer business
- Collaborate with overseas manufacturing sites
Technical / Functional Competencies
- Knowledge of glass manufacturing and new product development is preferable
- Strong customer orientation
- Knowledge of branding and social media is an advantage
