Job Description

Role Overview
We are looking for a professional profile with a bold commercial experience, who will manage the sales process by overseeing the entire funnel: lead generation, acquisition, retention, up-selling, cross-selling and post-sales. The identified figure will have to manage the sales team, personally contributing to commercial development and training the sales force. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sports technology, media, or live event operations and bring a high level of business acumen, leadership, and cultural awareness.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (Co-Founder), he/she will:

  • Plan the go to market strategy, through analysis of the competitive scenario, company's products and services;
  • Identify new potential market opportunities and deliver a consistent prospecting activity;
  • Build processes and acquire lead generation tools dedicated to new business;
  • Visit customers, present the offer and close deals, personally or alongside the sales team;
  • Manage the current customer base, perform retention actions and identify areas of up-selling and cross-selling, ensuring an excellent customer experience;
  • Manage the marketing budget and team, with particular reference to CRM, communication activities, lead generation and events;
  • Align with internal and external stakeholders (legal, finance, partners,...) to ensure perfect execution of the commercial strategy;
  • Manage, train, motivate and grow the sales and marketing organizational structure;
  • Participate and represent the company in all relevant events and trade fair;
  • Report to the Board sales and margin results, compared with the agreed budget.
The Successful Applicant

Experience:

  • 10+ years in Sales & Marketing, preferably within the sports technology, media, digital and live event management industries;
  • Proven track record of commercial leadership in a multinational or fast-paced environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of digital media, live broadcasting, and event technologies;
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams;
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization and problem-solving.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in Italian and English, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed for events, client meetings, and site assessments.
