DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce, offering advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's websites, proprietary devices, and the Amazon Advertising Platform. We believe that well-executed advertising can enhance the customer experience and generate positive returns for our advertising partners.

Role Overview: As a Sales Account Manager, you will work with advertisers and agencies to create and execute advertising strategies, driving revenue growth and increasing advertisers' investments on Amazon. You will consult with clients to define their goals and develop tailored advertising strategies using complex data-driven insights to enhance their understanding of campaigns and business objectives. Internally, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Agency, Creative, and Product Specialist teams to ensure advertiser success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve revenue targets while managing complex advertiser relationships.
  2. Grow existing client revenues, potentially expanding regionally.
  3. Collaborate effectively with partner teams sharing common goals.
  4. Excel in ambiguous situations, providing innovative solutions.
  5. Develop expertise in Amazon advertising solutions.
  6. Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
  7. Create media plans and develop complex advertising strategies.
  8. Generate insights from research and data analysis to inform campaigns.
  9. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimize future campaigns.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles with a focus on data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in brand and media planning.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and assess performance drivers.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in process improvement and simplification.
  • Understanding of digital creative production, ad serving, attribution, and media math.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
