Your key responsibilities
- Develop successful business relationships with new and existing clients, establishing dsm-firmenich as a key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms with clients, including payment terms and prices for new and existing business.
- Obtain clear and complete briefings from clients and translate their needs into Firmenich projects.
- Anticipate client needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify gaps and needs in the client portfolio and develop proactive plans to increase and defend market share.
- Identify and document business potentials and analyze the competitive landscape.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Fragrance Development, Marketing, Innovation, etc.) to create holistic value propositions for clients.
- Define account objectives, develop a commercial strategy in collaboration with the Commercial Director, and execute the account plan to drive profitable sales growth.
- Build and monitor the account sales budget annually, reviewing regularly to ensure accurate projections and performance against objectives.
- Manage product lifecycle, demand planning, customer care, and supply chain efficiency to ensure high service levels and internal accuracy.

You bring
- A university degree in Economics, Marketing & Sales, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong network in the Consumer and Fragrance Market.
- A passion for sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop client relationships and deliver presentations.
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Professional communication skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
