The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Venice, part of Marriott International, is recruiting for a Sales Account Director. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales and join a team of passionate professionals.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a setting of exceptional art and elegance, blending history and culture with Venetian style. The Gritti is renowned for passionate service, exquisite cuisine, and a wellness haven. It is a key venue for international events like the Biennale, Carnival, and Venice Film Festival.
What We Offer
Responsible for managing and supporting targeted accounts, focusing on the US luxury transient segment. Builds and maintains relationships with key buyers, applying strategic account management principles to meet market share goals. Develops partnerships to penetrate and grow market share, leveraging Marriott's products and services. Aims to increase preference, loyalty, and profitability within assigned accounts, contributing to the overall sales team success by driving revenue and value creation. Executes account strategies to maximize business opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Core Activities
The Account Director supports the Hotel’s sales vision by executing transactional sales excellence, developing and implementing account strategies, retaining and growing revenue, and exploring new business opportunities. Responsibilities include qualifying potential accounts, articulating financial benefits, analyzing customer data, negotiating, maintaining accurate account information, and supporting sales initiatives.
Ensures service standards are met, promotes customer satisfaction, and enhances loyalty through personalized service and value-added offerings. Monitors market trends, identifies opportunities, and acts as a customer advocate. Participates in market activities and collaborates with other departments to support regional sales efforts.
