Job Purpose : To maintain and grow revenue with existing clients and support prospecting for new business. Provide sales support to the show team in selling exhibition space and work towards achieving sales targets.
Scope : This role involves selling exhibition floor space, value-added services, and digital products to new and existing exhibitors based in Italy and internationally, demonstrating return on investment to clients.
Key responsibilities :
- Generate revenue through sales and develop new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the show’s strategy and the long-term sales plan.
- Manage portfolio selling, including selling m2, sponsorship, and content sponsorship.
- Conduct telesales to existing and potential exhibitors to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage floor plan and allocate stand space in collaboration with the Exhibition Manager.
- Stay informed of market developments and identify new growth areas for sales.
- Sell exhibition space via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
- Attend RX events and competitor events domestically and internationally to maintain relationships, expand the database, and prospect new business.
- Deliver face-to-face presentations to secure exhibitor involvement where necessary.
- Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately, including letter writing, mailings, and CRM updates.
- Resolve exhibitor issues both in-office and onsite.
- Support clients onsite during build-up, show opening, and breakdown periods.
- Coordinate with marketing, PR, and operations to keep them informed about exhibitor details.
- Understand functions of other departments to improve working practices and achieve company objectives.
- Build strong client relationships, understanding their business and marketing needs.
- Report progress weekly and forecast revenue projections.
