sennder is looking for a Safety, Security & Compliance Manager to join our Legal department in Milan. In this role, you will develop and implement safety and compliance programs to enhance our logistics operations. We seek an individual with a relevant qualification and proven experience in safety management. You will engage with suppliers to ensure compliance and contribute to a culture of safety within the company. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Italian and English and possess excellent organizational skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, Compliance or equivalent experience; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in safety, security, or compliance management, preferably in logistics or related industries.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
• Deep knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Safety, Security & Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing safety, security, and compliance programs, policies, and strategies. You will oversee risk assessments, manage security protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety and compliance. Your specific duties will involve:

1. Designing, developing, and implementing company-wide safety, security, and compliance initiatives.
2. Managing the process of providing suppliers with up-to-date safety documentation, including manuals, protocols, and updates throughout contracts.
3. Communicating with suppliers regarding safety compliance, addressing deviations, and taking corrective actions.
4. Issuing formal warnings to non-compliant suppliers and maintaining records of warnings and responses.
5. Ensuring the company complies with all relevant regulations, licenses, certificates, and insurance requirements.
6. Recommending and implementing improvements in safety, security, and compliance practices.
7. Maintaining a database of suppliers' safety compliance records, training, incidents, and warnings.
8. Collaborating with external and internal safety authorities and teams to uphold safety standards.
9. Fostering a safety-oriented company culture where all employees understand and adhere to safety measures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES
