Technical Safety Specialist

Job Description:

As a Technical Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for managing technical safety studies and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and implement safe systems
• Develop and maintain documentation of safety procedures and protocols
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL workshops and activities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Safety or related fields) and at least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. You should also have a strong understanding of international safety standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of IEC 61508/61511, API, DNV, NORSOK standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in software tools for risk analysis and management
