Safety Coordinator (Industrial Manufacturing)
Location: 15 miles west of Fayetteville, NC
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 + Annual Bonus Potential + Benefits

Typical Hours: M-F, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM ET; Occasional weekends

Safety Coordinator (Industrial Manufacturing) Description
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Safety Coordinator to add to their team just west of Fayetteville, NC. Working closely with the HR Supervisor and Safety Supervisor, you’ll support company-wide safety initiatives and will help to ensure a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment. Using your keen attention to detail, you will help to uncover potential safety risks and will help to troubleshoot possible solutions. Your strong people-skills will be put to use in training and coaching colleagues, helping maintain a safe work environment. If you have an industrial manufacturing or electrical manufacturing background and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, you would be a great addition to their team. Safety Coordinator (Industrial Manufacturing) Responsibilities
• Inspect machines, equipment, and the plant for potential hazards
• Ensure health and safety compliance
• Identify risks; recommend and implement improvements
• Help mitigate workplace hazards
• Audit health and safety programs and the plant
• Help with new hire safety orientation and general safety training initiatives
• Manage incident investigations and reporting
• Ensure employees are wearing PPE and following safety rules
• Promote safety best practices and regulatory compliance
• Engage with employees on safety concerns
• Input and track data
• Stay up to date on hazard prevention standards and OSHA regulations
Safety Coordinator (Industrial Manufacturing) Qualifications
• 2+ years of safety experience required
• Industrial or electrical manufacturing experience required
• Confined space experience required
• OSHA certification required
• Microsoft Office proficiency required
