How You'll Perform the Role

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and input all testing related to safety and audits
  • Input GEMBA reporting into spreadsheets for production and shipping
  • Track incidents such as close calls, first aid, and TIRs
  • Perform regular inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Assist the Safety Manager with training scheduling
  • Conduct GEMBA walks
  • Inspect the plant floor for close calls
  • Update safety boards and follow all food service policies and procedures
  • Adhere to PPE policies, including wearing steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair/beard nets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We Need From You

* High school diploma, GED, or 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
* Preferred: 3-5 years of clerical experience
* At least one year of manufacturing experience
* Strong reading, math, written, and oral communication skills
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to multitask
