Jobtailor in Milano is seeking a systems engineer to manage SaaS OBS environments and coordinate interfaces to the Objectway Banking Suite. You will monitor daily and end-of-day processing and support customers with new releases.

The role requires Linux and Windows Server administration, ANSI SQL, and shell scripting with Python/Perl/C/C++/Java. Strong teamwork, English fluency, and German are desirable, with occasional after-hours work.

Competenze

• Completed studies or equivalent practical IT/banking training.
• Solid knowledge of Linux operating-system administration and Windows Server.
• Solid ANSI SQL knowledge and Oracle database administration.
• Experience with data centres, including infrastructure setup and operation.
• Shell scripting knowledge and experience with Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java.
• Experience in IT support, software packaging, and software delivery systems.
• Understanding of automation, continuous integration, and build tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-oriented approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-site, functional teams.
• Organisational skills and ability to work under time pressure.
• Agile mindset and experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in project work.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office products.
• Fluent English and good German language skills are desirable.
• Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours or on weekends for special tasks.

Mansioni

• Manage SaaS OBS environments and operate interfaces to and from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite).
• Monitor and control daily and end-of-day processing.
• Provide software to customers and support them with releases.
• Collaborate with the core banking development team, project management, and client support teams.
