Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer - MozLNG, Milan

Airswift is actively recruiting for a Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist in Rotating Equipment for the major project MozLNG, based in Milan, Italy. This is a 12-month renewable, residential contract reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all engineering maintenance activities for rotating equipment on the LNG complex, ensuring operational efficiency and technical integrity.
  2. Develop maintenance strategies and plans for PVV equipment and support systems.
  3. Standardize and optimize spare parts management and prepare maintenance contracts.
  4. Adhere to HSE policies, demonstrate safety leadership, and contribute to safety improvements.
  5. Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineering team, review technical documents, and facilitate data flow between EPC and MIE contractors.
  6. Develop and review maintenance procedures, standards, and plans, including RCM and CBM tools.
  7. Liaise with vendors and OEMs for technical queries, spare parts, and modifications.
  8. Support during commissioning and ensure proper documentation and accessibility of maintenance data.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Rotating or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 20 years of maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries.
  • At least 10 years in LNG producing plants.
  • Expertise in GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines, large rotating equipment, LNG loading arms, and hydraulics.
  • Excellent knowledge of international codes & standards and SAP (CMMS).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
