Job summary

ESA at ESRIN, Frascati, Italy, offers a VEGA-E internship focused on developing and validating engine and propulsion system models using EcosimPro. The role will begin with training on MR10 and MR60 engines and VEGA space transportation systems, progressing to model extension and data validation with experimental results.

You must be a university Master’s student, able to stay enrolled for the full duration, and proficient in English or French.

Qualifications

• University student, preferably in final or second-to-last year of Master’s.
• Must prove enrollment at university for entire duration of internship.
• Working languages are English and French; knowledge of another ESA language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate engineering models at engine and stage level for VEGA-E LPM.
• Use EcosimPro to model propulsion systems and validate with experimental data.
• Extend and validate engine and system models with available data.
• Analyze results and draft reports; collaborate with IPT propulsion specialists.
