Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is seeking a Robotics Software Platform Engineer to design and evolve the software stack powering Arduino’s high-performance Linux platforms.

You will build Python frameworks, libraries and containerized integrations to enable developers to create advanced robotics applications. You will work with ROS/ROS2, Docker and Linux embedded systems, delivering high-quality examples, documentation and tooling.

Competenze

• BS/MS in CS/Robotics or related field is required or equivalent.
• 4+ years of software development experience with Python.
• Proficiency with ROS/ROS2 and containerized environments.
• Experience with Docker and Linux-based embedded platforms.
• Strong collaboration and developer experience mindset.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain Python-based frameworks and libraries for robotics.
• Architect containerized environments and runners for robotics middleware.
• Integrate ROS/ROS2 into Arduino ecosystem for interoperability.
• Create examples and documentation to define a clear developer path.
