Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical hardware for fluid-wire-actuated robotic platforms.
• Take fluid-wire mechanisms from concept to detailed CAD.
• Manufacture, assemble and iterate components and prototypes.
• Integrate mechanisms into complete robots and validate performance in lab testing.
• Design for harsh conditions including high temperature, radiation, vacuum and space.
