Role Description :

As an Expansion manager, your main mission will be leading the strategic identification and evaluation of prime locations for secure truck parking, EV charging stations and others, by analyzing key factors such as traffic flow, demographics, regulations, and grid access. To drive informed decision-making through in-depth site assessments and stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless collaboration with technical and legal teams to advance project feasibility.

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Identify strategic locations for new developments (logistics zones, TEN-T corridors, areas with high heavy-traffic flow).
  • Negotiate with owners of rural or industrial land for purchase or long-term lease.
  • Maintain direct communication with local and regional public authorities to manage urban planning permits, construction, environmental, and activity licenses.
  • Coordinate with technical, legal, and development teams to ensure project feasibility and progress.
  • Participate in urban planning due diligence studies and regulatory risk analysis.

Requirements :

  • At least 4 years of proven experience in land acquisition negotiations (ideally for industrial, logistics, energy, or infrastructure developments).
  • Experience in urban planning procedures and interaction with public authorities in Italy.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework regarding urban planning, land use, and permitting.
  • Ability to work independently and results-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced level of Italian and professional English.
