Dollar General is seeking a retail associate to join our team in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet customers, help locate merchandise, stock shelves, and operate the cash register to complete transactions. The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with store policies, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, setting up displays, and assisting with order placement using handheld scanners when needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Aware of safety policies and store procedures.
• Able to read and follow plan-o-grams for product presentation.
• Familiar with basic cash handling procedures.
• Able to perform basic math operations for transactions.
• Experience operating IBM cash registers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and move merchandise to stock areas or sales floor.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons, and rotate stock on shelves.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays and plan-o-grams.
• Restock and rotate merchandise, ensure shelves are tidy and facing customers.
• Assist customers in locating items and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag purchases.
