Mode Search is proud to be partnering with a leading global retailer to support the search for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Marketing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a retailer celebrated for its premium guest experiences, exceptional brand collaborations, and innovative retail approach.

This role is Maternity Cover Contract, and be on an ongoing rolling basis.

This hybrid role is based just outside Milan, with three days in the office and two days working from home. The position reports to the Marketing Director and works cross-functionally with retail, hospitality, and central marketing teams to deliver impactful initiatives. This role is on an ongoing interim basis and requires an immediate start.

The Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of the brands retail marketing strategy, aligned with commercial and brand objectives.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with brand partners, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering best-in-class marketing support.
  • Plan and execute integrated 360° retail marketing campaigns, including boutique openings, seasonal activations, and guest experiences.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of all retail marketing initiatives with a focus on high quality, creativity, and performance.
  • Develop innovative activations that drive qualitative footfall and enhance the guest journey.
  • Own and manage the retail marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum return on investment.
  • Prepare detailed post-campaign reports, measuring performance against KPIs and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and ensure alignment with central brand guidelines and business goals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in a retail or brand marketing role within automotive, luxury or premium retail environments or agency.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong operational capability and commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional campaigns and delivering impactful activations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with reporting and marketing analytics tools.
  • Fluency in both English and italian is essential.
