Descrizione del lavoro

On behalf of a retail luxury company, we are looking for a Deputy Store Manager (new opening luxury boutique Malpensa).


Reporting: Store Manager
Responsible for: Head of Department and Sales Consultants


As an Ambassador of the Maison, he/she efficiently assists the Boutique Manager to develop and optimize the boutique performance and profitability by managing the boutique team, ensuring excellence in boutique operations and ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store in line with Maison expectations.


Job Responsibilities

Team Management and Boutique Performance Management

  1. Under the supervision of the Boutique Manager, designs the optimum organization, recruits the right profiles and ensures proactive talent pipeline in his/her boutique.
  2. Drives performance and compensation management, ensures people development, motivates and reinforces engagement.
  3. Ensures the day-to-day management, training, coaching and motivation of the boutique team.
  4. Conduct and/or participate in regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and to convey other necessary information to management staff and associates.
  5. Facilitate proper communication between management and associates.
  6. Assists the Boutique Manager to make a diagnosis based and to define action plans to achieve Maison, boutique and category sales targets.
  7. Leads the implementation and monitoring of the action plans.
  8. Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates.
  9. Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations, applying merchandising concepts and guidelines.
  10. Assists the Boutique Manager to optimize boutique performance and profitability.
  11. Assists the Boutique Manager to monitor the boutique KPIs.

Clientele Service and Management

  1. Participate in the coordination of sales promotion activities, which include seasonal sales, trunk shows, contests, including proper use of in-store signs advertising sales and promotions.
  2. Assists the Boutique Manager to implement and monitor CRM programs and actions.
  3. Acts as an Ambassador of the Maison and supports the Boutique Manager to build direct contact with VIPs.

Boutique Operations & Administration

  1. Implements group, Maison and boutique policies, procedures and guidelines.
  2. Is responsible for the back office and administration of the boutique.
  3. Oversee compliance of associates with established Company policies and standards.
  4. Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all security procedures.
  5. Oversees the boutique expenses.
  6. Help solve problems that affect the department’s service, efficiency, and productivity.
  7. Gather merchandise for transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor.
  8. Oversee and participate in department inventories.
  9. Monitor proper pricing of merchandise.
  10. Minimize stock losses.
