- This position will be responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant with professionalism and courtesy, escorting them to their table, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant entry experience. They will collaborate with the food and beverage team to manage reservations, arrivals, and the restaurant's layout effectively.
- Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage telephone and online reservations, coordinate table assignments.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide initial information about the dining experience.
- Keep the reservation system and waiting lists up to date.
- Support during service in collaboration with the dining room team.
- Handle special requests or guest complaints appropriately.
- Maintain a tidy reception area.
- Assist management in preparing for events or special evenings.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor, customer service orientation, and attentive attendance.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with digital booking systems.
