I will safeguard these pillars through strategic planning and development, ensuring all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel/resort.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Restaurant Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of food and beverage outlets daily and coordinate special events.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Assist in preparing the annual operating budget aligning with the overall objectives.
  • Maintain procedures for security and proper storage of inventory and equipment, and ensure the security of financial transactions.
  • Establish purchasing practices that meet Six Senses' nutrition and sustainability standards.
  • Promote a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  • Operate outlets in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including reporting systems, contractual obligations, security, safety protocols, and budget controls.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards.

Qualifications

To succeed as Restaurant Manager, I should have the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or a valid health/food handler card as required by local or state authorities.
  • Eligible to work in Italy.
