Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for an iconic restaurant in central Rome. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, handle customer relations, ensure health and safety compliance, and contribute to financial performance monitoring.

Main duties:
  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff
  • Create staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Manage inventory, forecast needs, and oversee ordering
  • Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Process payroll and maintain records
  • Ensure operational standards are met
  • Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
  • Manage operating costs within budgets
  • Set priorities and delegate tasks effectively
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Experience in restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and security
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent leadership abilities
