If you would like to be part of such unique environment, we are looking for an outstanding and super skilled Restaurant Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Directs the brigade service teams on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations, consistent excellence and guest satisfaction.
2. Develops positive relations with guests and team members, whilst remaining professional and service oriented at all times.
3. Contributes to the development of food & beverage product/offering to ensure that the restaurant continues to evolve, improve and prosper.
4. Plans, directs, controls, coordinate and participate in all areas and activities of the department, working closely with the F&B management.
5. Maintains a daily liaison and partnership with the kitchen team to share information, best practice and ensure a harmonious relationship between culinary and service teams.
6. Supervises departmental food & beverage stocks and requisitions so to ensure daily service requirements are met efficiently.
7. Keeps a close overview of the wine and beverage stocks also conducting regular checks so that items are well kept and adequate to the business.
8. Is responsible for the department people daily operations, participating in the delivering on-the-job training.
9. Ensures appropriate processes and systems are in place to control costs, delivers both revenue and profit margins as per budget projections.
10. Helps in obtaining maximum control of expenditure through effective use of manpower and physical assets.
11. Organises brigade schedule and supervise the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring the correct completion of all required tasks in a timely fashion.
12. Implements a regular communications with the brigade through daily line ups, 1:1’s and monthly full departmental team meetings.
13. Attends any meeting required according to the planned schedule.
14. Checks that pertinent back of house areas are always kept clean and in good working order.
15. Apply all safety and hygiene standards so that they are met at all times and that cleaning schedules and related equipment are well executed and organised.

Requirements

1. 3 to 5 years’ working experience in a similar position and in Michelin restaurants or within the luxury hospitality industry.
2. Hospitality degree, or equivalent, appreciated.
3. Must be fluent in Italian and English. A third European language would represent an advantage.
4. Strong leadership skills and service oriented and guest focused, talented in people management, performance driven, assertive and pleasant personality.
5. Excellent communication skills in all aspects: verbal, written and non-verbal.
6. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
7. Superb organisational and interpersonal skills: you must be approachable, open-minded and fair, with perfect grooming standards.
8. Long season full time contract in line with CCNL (Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement).
9. Meals provided both when on duty and on days off.
10. Uniforms and their laundry.
11. Continuous training to improve personal and professional skills.
12. Participation in events reserved for Castelfalfi team members.
13. Discounts on catering, wellness and sports activities present in the resort and on the estate.
14. Accommodation with free wi-fi may be provided upon request, if coming from outside the area.

This research is addressed to candidates of both genders with reference to Italian Law 903/77 and Law 125/91.

This position is based in (FI), Tuscany, Italy. Availability of staff accommodation upon request. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
