Your Role in VT Markets

As the Country Manager – Italy (Forex) , you will lead the company's business expansion and operations in Italy. Your responsibilities include developing market-specific strategies, building relationships with Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and partners, and ensuring compliance with Italian financial regulations. You will collaborate with regional and global teams across marketing, product, legal, and operations to foster growth.

This is a remote position based in Italy, working during local business hours from your home.

Market Entry & Strategic Development

  • Lead localized go-to-market plans to expand VT Markets’ presence in Italy.
  • Utilize market insights to enhance brand visibility and identify new business opportunities.
  • Implement sales promotions tailored for the Italian market.
  • Hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, monitoring performance and mentoring staff.

Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Manage Italian-specific marketing campaigns aligned with global initiatives.
  • Identify market opportunities and potential risks through cross-functional collaboration.

Regulatory & Risk Management

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on audits and documentation.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and market trends.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze competitors, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Provide insights to support strategic decisions and improve market positioning.

Performance & Networking

  • Achieve business development targets (monthly / quarterly) for IB acquisition, client growth, and revenue.
  • Develop a strong network of IBs and affiliates in Italy.
  • Represent VT Markets at local industry events and forums.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Forex / CFD industry, especially in business development, sales, or market management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the forex industry.
  • Deep understanding of the Italian financial market and regulatory environment.
  • Experience managing relationships with brokers, financial institutions, and regulators.
  • Strong personal network of IBs and affiliates in Italy.
  • In-depth knowledge of trading platforms (MT4, MT5), financial instruments, and regulations.
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and capable of working remotely.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
