Residential Youth Care Worker Professional!

We are seeking candidates who are compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to empowering youth and adolescents to help them achieve their full potential. Your role will involve supporting daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration when needed, providing transportation to community events, and supporting individualized goals all aimed at fostering independence and promoting a fulfilling and healthy lifestyle. Schedules available are 7a-3pm, 3p-11p, & 11p - 7a and weekend block shifts. Familylinks encourages work / life balance and supports employee self-care.

Residential Youth Care Worker Responsibilities
  • Provide required levels of supervision and security for residents at all times.
  • Promote healthy, professional, and mentoring relationships with residents.
  • Participate in all service components, including referral, intake, assessment, service planning and delivery, and discharge.
  • Provide timely and accurate written and verbal documentation of all program operations and service components.
  • Supervise and document the administration of medication.
  • Provide transportation for residents to ensure their safety and attendance for appointments.
  • Attend all meetings, supervisions, and trainings as required.
Residential Youth Care Worker Requirements
  • High school diploma / GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Schedule may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required and / or directed.
  • Excellent computer skills and strong communication skills.
  • Support the organization's mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and HIPAA guidelines.
