For our Sales&Marketing Team we are looking for a Reservations&Events Trainee, to be part of Anglo American hotel in Florence, part of Curio Collection by Hilton brand.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to the importance of the philosophy of the brand, strong written and oral communication skills and will be involved in event management, time management, project management and MICE.
He / she will be able to strictly follow all company and Brand procedures and plans, in order to contribute to achieve and exceed the targets of the hotel, in collaboration with the team.
OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE

ØHighly computer literate with excellent presentation skills (including power-point), confident use of all Microsoft Office tools.
ØNative or fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
ØFluent in English (written and spoken)
ØAdditional language would be considered a plus
ØMust be EU Citizen or in possession of Italian work visa
The Meetings&Events Trainee we are looking for, must be extremely organized andhave good communication skills and ability to relate as well as perform with the operations team, the sales manager and the reservations department.
He / She will be focused on support in negotiation and conversion of incoming Groups opportunities. He / She can create also strong relationship with clients by supporting and following them in all steps of negotiation process until the day of arrival.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Ø Support in management of RFP’s, following Company and Brand’s standard & procedures.
ØConstant update on CRM with opportunities update, calls, account information, tasks, projects.
ØAssure that PMS (OnQ by Hilton) are properly and constantly updated with all info needed (rates, inventory, etc).
ØFocus on own KPI conversion according to the goals given.
ØEvent & Groups Management from the first offer until the day of arrival of the client, when required.
ØContribution with ideas to improve standards and new products and services offered.
Ø Support in the organization and follow up of site inspections, Fam Trips on Property when required.
