Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician who shares our passion for translational medicine. The technician assists biological and medical scientists by setting up, operating, maintaining laboratory instruments, monitoring experiments, collecting data and samples, and analyzing results. The role involves working with organic substances, such as blood, food, and drugs.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze experimental data and interpret results to prepare reports.
  • Maintain and prepare laboratory supplies and work areas.
  • Assist in research activities, including sample collection.
  • Conduct biological, microbiological, or biochemical tests.
  • Examine specimens for disease detection.
  • Input data into databases.
  • Prepare specimens for examination.
  • Keep detailed logs of activities.
  • Measure and weigh compounds and solutions.
  • Monitor experiments and record data.
  • Ensure laboratory compliance with standards.
  • Participate in research and development of pharmaceutical preparations.
  • Order laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Provide technical support to scientists and engineers.
  • Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Use computers and high-tech equipment for work duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training via work experience or education.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a science discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or cannabis industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
  • Good math and conversion skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
Certificates / Credentials / Licenses
  • Associate’s degree in a science discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in relevant industries.
