Descrizione del lavoro

Our Rescue Co-ordinator will coordinate any accidents or injuries that occur in the resort of Pila by communicating with instructors, calling the piste rescue services, informing party leaders or teachers, and resort team members to provide excellent service to our clients when needed. The Rescue Co-ordinator will also attend to accidents or injuries in the medical centre, collate and log all documentation onto our CRM, attend après ski activities, and cover one on-call shift per week.

This role does not require medical experience; the focus is on organizing logistics and acting as a linguistic aid. The role involves close collaboration with the Snowsports Operations Supervisor and Resort Assistant Co-ordinator.

Given the seasonal nature of the role, team members are expected to work up to five months with one scheduled day off per week. The workdays can be long and physically demanding, often in varying weather conditions. We value resilience, a positive mindset, and a proactive approach to maintaining mental and physical wellbeing throughout the season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with instructors and piste rescue services to assist with client transfers from piste to medical centre.
  • Contact party leaders or teachers of injured clients to meet them at the medical centre.
  • Proceed to the medical centre or advise Resort Assistant to assist with injured clients and complete documentation.
  • Attend après ski activities such as ice staking and cover at least one on-call evening shift for Resort Rescue.
  • Collate rescue paperwork and input data into our bespoke CRM.
  • Assist the snowsports school team with setup of check-in / check-out areas and help as a Resort Assistant during arrivals, including ski fitting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL
  • Over 18 years old - ESSENTIAL
  • Driver’s license and willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2, 5, and 9-seaters) - ESSENTIAL
  • Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL
  • Conversational or fluent in Italian - ESSENTIAL

CONTRACTOR PACKAGE

  • Contribution towards travel expenses at start and end of contract
  • Training program at the start of the contract
  • Accommodation (maximum twin share in hotel or apartment)
  • Option to live out with a £400 / month allowance
  • Meals (lunch provided during the season)
  • Season pass for Pila, Crevacol & Cogne for Aosta / Pila team members

WHERE YOU CAN DO THIS ROLE

The full-time Rescue Co-ordinator role is based in the Aosta Valley, Italy, primarily in Aosta and Pila, with occasional requirements in La Thuile, Courmayeur, and Gressoney.

Holidays Coordinators assist with organizing and delivering ski holidays in La Thuile and Courmayeur.

The Holidays Supervisor oversees the ski holiday operations across all resorts, including Aosta / Pila, Courmayeur, and La Thuile.
