Purpose of the Job

  • manages the configuration items from the “As Required” & “As Specified” baselines regarding Requirements Management
  • Ensure that the management of tender and project requirements is performed as per the global Requirements Management (RM) process and methodology, thus the delivered product meets the contractual requirements
  • Provide the necessary support and trainings to tender and project teams regarding RM process, methodology and tools (DOORS) to perform activities requested by the process
  • Monitors and reports on the status of RM activities, manages the RM database and helps engineers and other scope owners in their RM activities


Organisational Reporting

  • Direct report line to : TrainborneDesignEngineering Group Manager
  • Dotted report toPrEM (during program / project execution)

Key Network & Links

Links with: System Engineers, Product Designers, System Application Architect (SAA), Project Architect,V&V, Safety, RAM, Quality, Project Engineering team.


Responsibilities

  • Implements Requirement Management global processes on tender, execution contract projects for technical & non-technical requirements
  • Setup the Requirement Management plan according to the RM process and project execution strategy
  • Acts as the guardian of the integrity of the Contracts (from a RM point of view)
  • Drives the engineers in their requirements development activities
  • Verifies the data quality & consistency in the RM database, regularly exportsKPI to PrEM
  • Communicatewith project stakeholders to follow-up requirements committment, export, coverage, for the entire Requirement lifecycle
  • Manages the requirements changes & configuration
  • Contributes to RME Network
  • Acts as DOORS key user for the project team
