A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Reporting Manager for its client in the Oil & Gas sector, based in Milan. This role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, a degree in Economics, and excellent skills in English and Excel. Responsibilities include coordination of monthly closings, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Energy sectors.

Competenze

• 8–10 years of experience in similar roles.
• Preferable background in Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.

LHH is supporting an international client company operating in the Oil & Gas sector in the search for a Reporting Manager to be included in the Milan office.

Responsabilità

The Reporting Manager will be responsible for the following activities :

• Coordination of the monthly closing activities.
• Prepare monthly reports and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Prepare Statutory Financial Statements under IFRS and local accounting standards. Directly communicate with our Auditors and Tax advisors, supporting the yearly audit and tax filing routines.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis for the Group Controller, Head of Finance or other Board / Management meetings as needed.
• Ensure effectiveness of internal controls and compliance of accounting policies and procedures to Group policies.
• Support the internal audit for testing accounting procedures.
• Support in extraordinary transaction activities for all the accounting matters.

Competenze

Candidates with the following requirements will be considered :

• Degree in Economics or related fields;
• Previous experience of 8–10 years in similar roles;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with structured ERP systems;
• Preferable background in the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.

The profile is completed by : Good communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
