Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to support our Procurement Department in the sourcing and purchasing of key components for solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in procurement and grow within the renewable energy sector. You will work closely with senior team members and cross-functional departments, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Candidates with experience in EPC projects or electrical construction - including familiarity with substations, switchgears, panels, cables, and related components are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities by identifying and evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and generate purchase orders for required materials and components.
• Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues.
• Liaise with suppliers to address delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments including logistics, sales, and finance to streamline procurement operations.
• Conduct market research to analyse trends, pricing, and product availability.
• Assist in negotiating pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience in EPC projects or electrical construction, including familiarity with substations, switchgears, panels, cables, and related components (preferred).
