Job Description:

The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. UKA’s project pipeline exceeds 19 gigawatts. The Group’s asset management subsidiary UKB manages wind and PV farms in Germany.

Join us in advancing the energy transition. We are seeking a Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) at our Rom office.

The Role:

• Electrical design of PV plants and wind farms, including interconnection infrastructure (HVOL, HVUL, substations).
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments for solar PV plants.
• Design all aspects of solar PV projects:
• Resource assessment, layout tradeoff, equipment selection, civil works, electrical infrastructure (internal lines, MV/HV OL and UL, substations).
• Create plot and expropriation lists (piano particellare).
• Prepare and approve technical documentation for administrative authorization and municipal licensing.
• Coordinate with external consultants on project design and due diligence.
• Develop technical drawings detailing land use for lease contracts.

The Individual:

• MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered with the Ordine degli Ingegneri.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy design and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing projects for PV plants, substations, and electrical lines.
• Experience with grid connection requests (STMG & STMD).
• Team player.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, PVCase, pvDesign, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, QGIS.
• Willing to travel.
• Languages: Italian and English (C1).
