Haier Europe, based in Vimercate, Italy, seeks a strategic Tax Director to lead and develop the tax function. You will ensure tax compliance, governance, and accurate reporting while providing strategic tax advice to the business and senior management.

The role requires strong leadership, Italian tax expertise (IRES/IRAP) and IFRS knowledge, with fluency in Italian and English. Remote work options are available within Italy under permanent contract.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law or related field.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the tax function across the organization.
• Oversee direct tax activities including Corporate Income Tax and all tax compliance obligations.
• Coordinate preparation of corporate income tax returns with internal and external teams.
• Oversee tax accounting, including current and deferred taxes and reconciliation with financial statements.
• Manage tax governance and risk, implementing controls and documentation.
• Serve as main contact for tax matters to Finance, Legal, HR and other functions.
• Lead relationships with external tax advisors, auditors and tax authorities.
• Oversee tax audits and disputes and coordinate resources.
• Drive tax planning, optimization, and digitalization of tax processes.
• Monitor tax legislation developments and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Support senior management with tax analysis on strategic projects and transactions.
• Ensure clear tax reporting and communication to management and stakeholders.
