Impulso.Space is seeking a System Engineer to own the systems engineering and architectural design for upcoming rideshare missions. You will be the core technical authority ensuring perfect compatibility between customer payloads, deployers, and launch vehicles.

You will lead interfaces across teams, perform technical validation, and support internal projects with occasional international travel (Florida campaigns).

Competenze

• . Master’s degree in Aerospace/Astronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• . 3+ years in space industry as System Engineer or similar focus (AOCS/GNC/Propulsion)
• . Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).
• . Proficiency in 3D CAD software for assembly management and interface verification.
• . Willingness to travel internationally for campaigns.

Mansioni

• Translate mission objectives into detailed technical specifications and architectures for rideshare configurations.
• Provide Systems Engineering support for internal projects and interface management with customers and launch providers.
• Draft, verify, and maintain ICDs between payloads, deployers, and launch vehicle.
• Lead on-site AIT operations during launch campaigns, including Florida sites.
• Support engineering reviews (PDR/CDR/SRR) and resolve design discrepancies.
