Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Regional Clinical Director (RN) to provide strategic clinical leadership across multiple assisted living and memory care communities in the region. This remote role requires residency in South Carolina and frequent travel to sites within South Carolina, North Carolina, and Mississippi.

You will partner with Executive Directors, Wellness Directors, and Operations leaders to elevate resident care, ensure survey readiness, and drive quality outcomes while mentoring

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and licensure in required states.
• Minimum of 5 years in clinical leadership within assisted living, memory care, or long-term care.
• Experience leading across multiple sites and mentoring nursing leaders.
• Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations, survey readiness, and quality improvement.
• Experience with clinical audits, compliance initiatives, and performance improvement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively by auto and air, with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and regulatory guidance across assigned communities.
• Support survey readiness, quality outcomes, risk management, and leadership development.
• Coach and mentor community clinical teams to achieve resident-centered care excellence.
• Collaborate with EDs, Wellness Directors, and Operations leaders to elevate clinical performance.
• Travel frequently to multiple locations to influence care delivery regionally.
