Job summary

Malwarebytes is seeking a collaborative Research QA Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-project environment focused on web services and desktop testing. You will uncover defects, drive quality across releases, and contribute to improving test methodologies.

In an agile team, you design and execute manual and automated tests using Python, Pytest, and Playwright, mentor teammates, and ensure stringent quality before shipping.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in QA roles within agile teams.
• Strong testing theory and QA best practices.
• Experience with desktop application testing.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and execute test cases (manual and automated).
• Uncover, document, and track defects.
• Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage.
• Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with developers.
• Participating in requirements testing.
• Be an integral part of the team while continuously participating in improving process and test methodologies, execution efficiency and effectiveness.
