The International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Sanremo invites applications for a remote Project Assistant (Learning Assistant) to support planning, organizing, and delivering courses within the Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law.

You will manage the Online Learning Platform, train facilitators and participants on Zoom for Education, Canva, Moodle, and Articulate 360, and develop didactic materials while supporting researchers and coordinators in a multinational

Qualifications

University degree in social sciences focusing on Educational Science, Training for Adults, Digital Learning/Digital Communication, Graphic Design, and/or Instructional Design.
Fluency in English and a second language (Spanish, French or Arabic).
Experience organizing online courses and events (online and in-person).
Knowledge of Canva, Moodle, Zoom for Education, and Articulate 360.
Strong graphic design skills.
Strong organization and communication (written and oral) skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience in digital content creation (photography, videography, graphics, editing).
Working knowledge of UN languages.
Experience in instructional design for adults.
Background or lived experience of displacement or statelessness.
Knowledge in international relations or international law, especially protection.
Motivation to work in refugee protection organizations.

Responsibilities

Supports planning, organization, and follow-up of courses and initiatives.
Updates and manages the Online Learning Platform.
Instructs facilitators and participants on online learning tools (Zoom, Mentimeter, Moodle).
Contributes to design of didactic and interactive modules.
Supports Course Coordinators in new courses and updating materials.
Conducts research and prepares reports/infographics on refugees and migrants.
Supports design using PowerPoint, Canva, and other tools.
Manages correspondence with participants before, during, and after courses.
Supports translations as needed.
Updates reporting databases after course completion.
Performs other tasks as assigned by coordinators.
