Serco Space Services - Europe Careers in Rome is seeking a Mid Level Software Developer for a full-time, permanent role with a remote working style. You will contribute to the ECLIPSE Product Development team, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for the space sector in an Agile environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of Java web application experience and a strong mix of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML/CSS/JS, with Angular or similar frontend.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience in Java web application development.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, HTML/CSS/JS, and Angular or similar frameworks.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features throughout the development lifecycle.
• Take ownership of features from implementation through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and other developers to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
• Contribute ideas to improve development processes, tooling, and engineering practices.
• Keep technical knowledge up to date and pursue continuous professional development.
