You will design and analyze thermal-fluid systems, develop 3D CFD workflows, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Bachelor's in engineering is required; 2+ years in in-cylinder CFD is preferred.

Competenze

• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, combustion, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, engine performance, and energy conversion systems.
• Experience with modelling and simulation tools such as CONVERGE, Chemkin, GT-Suite, Fluent, Boost or similar thermal-fluid platforms.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills using MATLAB, Python, Tecplot, Ensight, Paraview or equivalent.
• Effective collaboration, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and decision-making skills across teams.

Mansioni

• Use thermal and fluid sciences to evaluate system and component performance for efficient, responsible products.
• Develop and apply 3D CFD combustion models and workflows for engine technologies.
• Combine high-fidelity 3D CFD with 1D system-level modelling to assess architectures and optimize designs.
• Perform in-cylinder combustion and conjugate heat transfer analyses to improve performance and durability.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and document results for resolution.
• Support platform engineering by fulfilling combustion simulation requirements.
