Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, seeks an Accountant (m/f/d) based in Europe for German entities within an international software group. This fully remote role emphasizes day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, VAT filings, and intercompany reconciliations while collaborating with external tax advisors and payroll providers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with German HGB and tax requirements.
• Experience in software/ SaaS environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for German entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end and year-end closings with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT filings (UStVA) and support payroll tax declarations.
• Coordinate with external advisors and payroll providers.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls across multiple entities.
