Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Senior/Director, Project Management to lead the delivery of complex global clinical programs with strategic leadership across projects and high-performing PM teams in a matrix environment.

You will partner with sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high-quality standards. Requires Life Sciences degree, 10+ years in clinical pharma, and rheumatology study experience.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in clinical pharmaceutical industry with proven project management experience.
• Five+ years supervisory experience in healthcare setting and 8+ years in CRO/pharma environments.
• Experience leading rheumatology studies is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop project management professionals in a project-driven environment.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple global clinical research projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality.
• Direct, mentor and develop Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Define resource requirements, staffing strategies, and contingency plans to support delivery.
• Partner with sponsors to align on scope, priorities and objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasting and resource utilization.
• Communicate status, risks and strategic updates to senior leadership for informed decisions.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Support business development through client presentations and proposal development.
