Outmatic seeks a Data Integration Engineer to join its technology team in Bologna. The role is fully remote with occasional office presence and is a contractor engagement (Partita IVA). It includes on-call duties, two weeks per month, with incidents in data queues, DB as needed.

The candidate will implement data flows, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate across teams to maintain system stability and reliability in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how data works in the background.
• Fluency with AWS Glue and Python.
• Experience in ETL/ELT design and implementation.
• Ability to convert daily routines into runbooks for Global Operations Center.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and MongoDB; Oracle and PostgreSQL are a plus.
• Knowledge of Terraform, DMS and SSIS is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.

Responsabilités

• Implement data processing flows (AWS DMS, Oracle Golden Gate, Transactional Replication, Qlik data integration, SSIS, AWS Glue).
• Evaluate impact of data movement on system stability.
• Define and monitor data policies.
• Ensure coherence of data moved between source and destination.
• Model and transform data per data quality definitions.
• Implement security roles and encrypt data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data flows issues.
• Monitor, tune and manage data flows.
