EDAG Group in Bologna, Italy, is seeking an Automotive E/E Failure Analysis Engineer to support our electrics/electronics customers. You will oversee testing and issue tracking across the entire vehicle, coordinating with Test Managers, testers, and suppliers to drive root-cause analysis.

The role requires a technical degree and hands-on experience with vehicle integration, diagnostics, and automotive standards.

Competenze

Technical degree in Electrics or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Strong background in whole-vehicle integration and automotive electronics.
Experience with testing methodologies in automotive projects.
Ability to develop custom scripting tools to optimize workflows.

Mansioni

Oversee tracking and analysis of whole-vehicle integration testing, managing system issues and customer complaints
Evaluate issues with Test Managers, Testers, Component Owners, and suppliers
Analyze integration, diagnostics, log files, and end-to-end functional behaviours
Perform root cause analysis across software, electrical, electronic, and hardware levels
Coordinate data collection and analysis to resolve new failures with cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts to automate input tracking and analysis
Manage physical testing tools and resulting log files
Maintain documentation of test configurations and signal values
Coordinate alignment meetings with stakeholders to improve testing input quality
Monitor bug tickets and update KPIs on issues and analysis
