Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in Naples for a fully remote hourly contract role. You will build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code, shaping how AI systems think and reason about software.

The job emphasizes hands-on engineering, independent work, and flexible hours, with 10–40 hours per week. You will review AI outputs, provide expert feedback, and design prompts to stress-test AI capabilities across languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, and TypeScript.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or equivalent experience
• Proficient in one or more programming languages
• Ability to read, write, and reason about code clearly

Mansioni

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and domains
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works — or doesn't
• Design challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
