Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in Italy, seeks an Investment Banking AI Research Contributor to design Excel-based tasks drawn from investment banking, M&A advisory, and corporate development. You will challenge AI models with practical modeling tasks and precise evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development with practical financial analysis and modeling.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills including merger models, pro forma statements, and football field valuations.
• Ability to build, review, and extend complex financial models with numerical accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify modeling errors and translate workflows into tasks.
• Excellent written English to produce clear task briefs and evaluation rubrics.
• Willingness to learn about AI evaluation methodologies and work autonomously in a remote setup.
• Commitment to data confidentiality and use of sanitized or public data with sources identified.
• Availability to begin onboarding promptly and complete initial task proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop Realistic Financial Modeling Tasks: Create Excel assignments from investment banking experience.
• Establish Correct Reference Solutions: Produce clear reference answers for AI evaluation.
• Design Evaluation Criteria: Create objective rubrics for task evaluation.
• Test AI Model Capabilities: Submit tasks for evaluation against leading AI models.
• Refine Evaluation Frameworks: Add criteria to identify errors and gaps in outputs.
• Prepare High-Quality Supporting Materials: Write briefs and provide input workbooks.
• Maintain Professional and Data Integrity: Use only sanitized public data or data with sources.
• Complete Project Onboarding: Participate in onboarding and submit original task proposals.
