We are seeking an Associate with at least 2 years of experience in reinsurance accounting operations , ideally within Treaty business and across multiple lines of business. This is a full-time, hybrid work model .

Max Gross Annual Salary (RAL) : €40,000

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an insurance company, reinsurance broker, or reinsurance firm
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret insurance / reinsurance contracts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Book transactions, issue invoices, handle collections, and cash allocation
• Support the Finance Manager in monthly financial reporting , payments, and cash-flow analysis
• Assist in internal and external audits , ensuring compliance with controls
• Collaborate with underwriters to review complex reinsurance transactions
• Manage technical accounts : commission adjustments, profit commissions, premium revisions
• Record and reconcile reinsurance payables and receivables in the general ledger
• Follow up on open balances with ceding companies
• Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure all treaties are accurately accounted
• Participate in ad hoc projects and finance-related tasks
• Monitor and update brokerage revenue forecasts
