Scalapay in Milano, Italy, is seeking a Legal Counsel Intern for a 6-month, on-site internship in the Regulatory and Complaints handling stream. You will join the Legal Department and work with the team on regulatory matters and customer complaints, reporting to the Complaints Officer, with three days per week in the office.

The role demands an Italian law degree and fluency in Italian and English. You will draft agreements, conduct legal research, and support cross-functional teams while

Competenze

• Italian law degree or equivalent.
• Fluent Italian and English (C1-C2).
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Assist the Complaint Handling Function in reviewing and preparing responses to customer complaints, under supervision.
• Support the Legal Team with day-to-day legal affairs focusing on payment services, consumer protection, contract law.
• Draft and review commercial agreements; draft internal memoranda and legal analyses.
• Legal research on case law and scholarly papers; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement guidelines.
