This role requires monitoring regulations, collaborating with Marketing and R&D, and ensuring product labeling meets legal standards. Ideal candidates should have a degree in a relevant field alongside 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs.

Regulatory Affairs Specialist Europe Market

The new resource will be part of Group Regulatory Affairs Team and will work on the compliance of the Company confectionery products (chewing gum, candies and bars, conventional products, food supplements and enriched products) according to European laws and technical standards applicable to Food Industry as well as Group’s policies.

What you will do

• Monitor, verify and study food and labeling regulations and technical standards and their possible revisions;
• Share information on food and labelling legislation/standards with other functions within the organization;
• Work closely with Marketing to support projects and issue advice with the supervision of the Manager;
• Provide support to R&D on additives, raw materials, ingredients, and other technical aspects;
• Work on the compliance of products according to national food legislation/standards of the territories involved;
• Prepare and issue ingredient lists and nutrition information upon recipe shared by R&D team;
• Check the product labels providing the final approval according to local regulations to ensure the compliance;
• Possible participation to trade association meetings, preparation of report and monitor of bulletins;
• Work with Regulatory Company database.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field;
• 3 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Quality in multinational companies operating in the food industry in EU;
• Excellent knowledge of English language, German knowledge will be considered a plus;
• Good knowledge in food and labelling law (Europe);
• Good knowledge in preparing ingredient list and nutritional information, starting from ingredients and raw material information;
• Good knowledge on food supplements (i.e. vitamins and minerals);
• Very good capacity of analyzing legislation, evaluating impact assessment on the company products and environments, summarizing and communicating key information to internal stakeholders;
• Combines scientific knowledge with legal aspects;
• Quickly grasps the essence of subject/legislation and new issues;
• High level Accuracy;
• Capability to carry out research from different sources;
• Strong interest in learning and analyze legislation;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Italian.
