Responsibilities

We seek a results-oriented Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The role involves driving sales by identifying opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering customized energy storage solutions. A strong understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and client needs, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, are essential.

The main accountabilities include:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business goals in the energy storage market.
    • Identify and pursue new opportunities, including utility-scale projects, C&I applications, and microgrids.
    • Achieve sales targets through proactive engagement and pipeline management.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  3. Technical and Market Expertise:
    • Keep updated on BESS technology, market trends, and regulations.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions.
    • Present products compellingly to clients.
  4. Proposal Development and Negotiation:
    • Prepare detailed proposals with financial analyses.
    • Lead contract negotiations.
    • Coordinate with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
  5. Internal Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
    • Provide market feedback for product development.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track sales metrics and report to management.
    • Analyze market data for trends and opportunities.
    • Maintain CRM data.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of BESS technology, including batteries, inverters, and power systems.
  • Proven sales cycle management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
Skills
  • Knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage.
  • Experience with renewable energy project financing or sales.
  • Familiarity with energy policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
